McArdle back for Bantams

Bradford will be boosted by the return to contention of defender Rory McArdle for the visit of Swindon following suspension.

Centre-half McArdle missed the Boxing Day defeat to Rotherham as he served a one-game ban for reaching five yellow cards and boss Phil Parkinson must decide whether to recall him or stick with Carl McHugh.

Teenage striker Ollie McBurnie made his first start for the club against the Millers and he could resume up front in the continued absence of senior strikers James Hanson (calf) and Andy Gray (dead leg).

Forward Alan Connell, winger Mark Yeates and midfielder Jason Kennedy provide Parkinson with options should he wish to rest some of his players.

Swindon manager Mark Cooper is set to welcome back three regulars.

Jay McEveley (dead leg), Dany N'Guessan and Ryan Harley (both illness) all sat out the 3-2 defeat to Brentford on Boxing Day but are expected to return to action.

Cooper will hope their availability can freshen up his side, after they surrendered the lead twice at Griffin Park and slipped five points adrift of the play-off places.

The Robins go into the clash striving for consistency having won two and lost two of their previous four league games.
