Four set for home bows

Aaron McLean, Adam Reach, Kyle Bennett and Chris Atkinson are all hoping to make their home debuts for Bradford against Preston.

Permanent signing McLean made his first appearance in the 2-2 draw at Sheffield United last time out, while wingers Adam Reach (Middlesbrough) and Kyle Bennett (Doncaster), plus midfielder Chris Atkinson (Huddersfield) have all joined on loan.

Kyle Reid is out for the rest of the season due to a cruciate knee ligament injury and fellow winger Raffaele De Vita (thigh) is still struggling after missing the last six matches.

Midfield pair Nathan Doyle (groin) and Ricky Ravenhill (ankle) could face late fitness tests in their bid to return from injury as City chase their first win in 10 games.

Kevin Davies will again miss out for Preston.

The ex-Bolton striker was shown a red card against Coventry in North End's last league game and will sit out the second game of a three-match ban.

Other than Davies' absence, boss Simon Grayson once again has a wealth of options at his disposal as the Lilywhites aim to keep pace with the division's top two.

Midfielder Lee Holmes was dropped to the bench at Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup last Friday but, given he has been a regular this term, could be one of the changes Grayson contemplates.
