Speaking to the Sunday Mail about his time at former club Aberdeen, the 35-year-old sees his future in management and coaching when he finally calls it quits.
He said:``I'd consider anything but it would probably have to be close to home because we're settled and there has been enough moving during my career.
``I've passed my UEFA B licence and want to break into coaching. But my plan is to keep playing for as long as possible. I get far too much enjoyment and satisfaction from it to walk away.''
Windass, who is now enjoying his third spell with Bradford City after he first joined the club from Oxford United in 1998, has made 450 league appearances during his 13-year career as a professional footballer.
