Legends Stuart McCall and John Hendrie were among the stars who took the trip down memory lane last Sunday to wear the claret and amber strip once again.
And the event proved to be a huge success both on and off the pitch. Just over 9,000 supporters watched a THIRTEEN goal thriller that ended 7-6.
But more importantly, the Bantams may have raised up to #100,000 on the day in its fight for survival.
Meanwhile, a transfer deal that involved one of their players three years ago has also earned the club a six-figure sum.
Crystal Palace agreed to pay City #150,000 when keeper Matt Clarke completed his move to the club in September 2001 if it secured promotion from Division One.
The Eagles booked a coveted place in the Premiership on May 29 after beating West Ham United in the play-off final at the Millennium Stadium.
So, in the space of just two days, City have pocketed quarter of a million pounds.
