Bantamspast Launches Film Appeal

You may have seen this footage at the National Museum of Film Photography and Television during the Centenary season. There is also footage of City's predecessors Manningham in action at Dewsbury in 1901. They are from the Mitchell & Kenyon films shown on the BBC last year. The quality of the footage is outstanding.

The museum is also trying to secure film of both the FA Cup final draw at Crystal Palace and the victory at Old Trafford. The films belong to ITN and unfortunately come with a hefty license fee, which is required in order to show the films in public.

If you would like to contribute towards the film project you can make donations to Bantamspast at Yorkshire Building Society account no 5845635730.
