Wetherall warns against complacency

"Tuesday's result was a step along the right road - and a big step - and hopefully the first of a good few to come between now and the end of the season," He told the Telegraph and Argus.

"The league table is much better to look at but there's still plenty of work to do. We've shown that we're a half-decent team again but one swallow doesn't make a summer and we've got to do that on a regular basis now.

"If we'd got the points we deserved in the other games I'd been in charge, we'd be in a very comfortable position with regards to relegation. But we haven't and the job is a long way from being done this season.

"What that win will hopefully do is give us that belief. We can say to the players that we've proved we can win games and hopefully we can be the team I know we're capable of being."

City's next three games are Northampton (h), Blackpool (h) and then leaders Scunthorpe (a).
