Team spirit pleases Law

Law spoke last week of a 50 points survival target and the 2-1 victory at Pride Park sees the Bantams sitting in 18th place in the division one table and just 5 points off Laws target on 45 points.

"We worked very hard for this. We've had a game plan and it's paid dividends.

"Although we had to withstand long spells of pressure we defended very well and we've got a great team spirit and a never-say-die attitude.

"I don't want to be critical of anyone but both teams have got elder statesmen and older players, but we were much stronger at the end.

"I think that's a credit to people at the club who work on that side of the game and we've certainly been stronger in the latter stages of matches."

"We can nearly see the finishing line now, I seem to have been saying this for two or three months but we're making steady progress and I'll be a relieved man when we get to 50 points."
