The Millers looked on course for a point when Adam Le Fondre cancelled out Michael Flynn's opener, but James Hanson was on hand to head home Simon Ramsden's corner in the third minute of injury time.

Taylor said: "I was very pleased with the way we played. It would have been very harsh if we hadn't won.

"I think Rotherham had a couple of good chances in the second half, but I think we played really, really well and deserved to win. Over the game we had a lot more chances and we are looking very dangerous at corners at the minute and a good corner got us the points in the end.

"The players have done really well. There have been a couple of fresh faces come in and they have all done very well."
