Taylor feels for fans

Bradford manager Peter Taylor shared the frustrations of the club`s fans after watching his side slip to 23rd in League Two with a 1-0 home defeat to fellow strugglers Morecambe. Wayward finishing was again City`s downfall as Paul Mullin`s simple soft goal midway through the first half saw the visitors walk away with all three points. And Taylor, while irked at the defeat, shouldered responsibility afterwards. He said: "I agree with the supporters who are very frustrated. I am as amazed as they are but I am the manager who picks the players so I suppose it is my fault because they are not playing in the way I expect. "It was a very poor performance and there are no excuses from me. I am the first to say boos are not justified if the players are doing all they can, but Morecambe worked harder than us and looked a better team than us so the boos at the end of the game were justified." He continued: "We hit the post early on but the performance was flat, the players didn't look confident and it was disappointing after the way we played at Rotherham on Tuesday night."
