A goal from skipper Anthony Charles was enough for the Shots to condemn the Bantams to a third straight defeat.
"We didn't start the game particularly well and they could have scored from an early free-kick, but after that I thought we created some really good chances to score," Taylor said.
"I`m pleased with how we played overall, but nobody is going to give you that win and I`m disappointed with how the opposition scored their goal. We just don't score enough goals and it`s as simple as that.
"Goalscorers get you goals when you deserve them and when you don't, and unfortunately we haven't had that luxury this season.
"It`s been a very frustrating season so far and I can only apologise to everyone involved with the club because I`m the manager and the responsibility falls on my shoulders."
