"It was a disappointing day but probably the right result," said Taylor. "Accrington are a good team and probably don't get the credit they deserve but there are certain areas that were disappointing.
"The lads have held their hands up and said they are short of confidence. It is the first time I have seen them play and there were some things which pleased me and some things which disappointed me.
"We know we need some results and we need to get them smiling again."
