Bradford manager Peter Taylor wants to bring in a new striker in time for Saturday's clash at Barnet. The Bantams have been without James Hanson (hamstring) for most of the season, attacking midfielder Michael Flynn has only just returned from a double hernia operation and forward Gareth Evans fractured his wrist last Saturday. Taylor told the club's official website: "I was hoping to get somebody in on a non-contract situation, but that's not going to happen. "We're still trying to get one on loan for Saturday. There's a couple out there we are interested in." Flynn played the final half an hour in the midweek Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Hartlepool and Hanson is back in full training. Taylor added: "I'm not convinced Michael felt as good as he thought he would but his know-how gets him into good positions. Just his experience alone is handy for us. James is looking all right. It's just a case of how quickly do you throw him in because you don't want to mess him up again."
