Ramsden strained his thigh in training last week and missed Friday night's defeat at Port Vale, meaning he managed just one game following his comeback from a long-term hip/calf injury.
But Steve Williams returned to central defence alongside Luke Oliver against Vale, allowing Lewis Hunt to switch to right-back. Manager Peter Taylor is expected to retain the same back four, so Luke O'Brien should stay at left-back.
Lee Bullock is not quite ready to return following a hip problem, but could be included next Saturday, while fellow midfielder Tommy Doherty (ankle) is still out.
Striker James Hanson and midfielder David Syers also remain sidelined after sustaining respective groin and hamstring injuries in the recent win over Wycombe.
