Also coming in is Watford striker Moses Ashikodi. He replaces Bruce Dyer who has returned to Doncaster.
Ashikodi is here initially for a month.
"Moses has got two things that we need: frightening pace - which we don't possess in abundance - and the knack of getting goals. If he can do that for us it will be a great asset," said David Wetherall.
"He's a strong, young lad and willing worker and I've been very impressed with his attitude from speaking to him. The lad has been excellent in terms of what we can afford to pay."
