Cullen poised for Bantams bow

Cullen, 18, who has made 18 appearances this season for the Tigers, is expected to partner Gareth Evans or James Hanson up front as Jason Price has returned to Carlisle following the expiry of his loan spell.

Centre-half Rob Kiernan has agreed to extend his stay on loan from Watford until the end of January and is expected to step in for Steve Williams, who sustained a hamstring injury in the win over Bury on Monday.

Kiernan could partner either Luke Oliver, who is nursing a sore knee, or Shane Duff, who was rested on Monday after only recently shaking off a long-term Achilles injury.

Richard Eckersley is another loanee who will stay on at Valley Parade. The Burnley defender has extended his stay until February and will retain his place at right-back.

Striker Jake Speight has returned from his loan spell at Port Vale but is not expected to feature, while midfielder Tommy Doherty is sidelined due to an on-going knee problem.
