Crewe V Bradford at The Alexandra Stadium - Match Preview

Turton out for Crewe

Crewe are likely to be without midfielder Ollie Turton when they host Bradford at Gresty Road.

Turton came off before the hour mark against Sheffield United due to a knee injury and the Alex are anxiously waiting to discover if he sustained ligament damage which would keep him out for a month.

Centre-back Harry Davis could return, though, after he featured for the Under-21s on Wednesday following a knee injury of his own.

Loanee George Evans could make his debut after arriving on loan from Manchester City while striker Mathias Pogba (knee) is back running, although he is unlikely to play until before Christmas.

Bradford's leading goalscorer Nahki Wells is hoping to return to the starting line-up.

Wells stepped off the substitutes' bench in last week's home defeat to Wolves after missing the previous four games due to an ankle injury.

Manager Phil Parkinson has no new injury or suspension worries, but defender Andrew Davies remains a long-term absentee following knee surgery.

Summer signing Raffaele De Vita is hoping to retain his place in the starting line-up, while recent signing Caleb Folan is waiting patiently for his first start after five substitute appearances as the Bantams bid for their first league win in five matches.
