Casualty list is growing

Steve Banks could make his full debut against Portsmouth
Davison was replaced by on-loan keeper Steve Banks in the 67th minute of the game with the Sky Blues and he now faces a scan on the injury.

If Davidson faces a spell on the sidelines, City are unlikely to have a sub goalkeeper on the bench for the game with table-topping Portsmouth and emergency stand-in Andy Tod is still out after a double hernia operation.

Boss Nicky Law told the Bradford Telegraph: "It's just ridiculous the number of injuries we're getting, I've never known anything like it. And they aren't just little niggles or knocks, each time it's big stuff that keeps players out for four, five or six weeks."

Law has the option to bring in one more short-term loan signing, if money allows it, an option he has already discussed with the Bradford board.

"I need to see chairman and find out the situation. But last time I spoke to him the situation wasn't that great and I don't think it will have changed much from Monday," said Law.

"It's difficult but we know the circumstances we are in and just have to get on with it."
