Bradford midfielder Tommy Doherty is due to return after being suspended for Saturday's home defeat by Macclesfield.Gareth Evans, Jason Price and Louis Moult are eyeing recalls, but centre-halves Steve Williams (groin) and Shane Duff (Achilles) are still missing.

Peter Murphy and Chris Turner are both still banned as 13th-placed Accrington go to Valley Parade to play the team just one slot below them in League Two.

Both were banned for three matches following straight red cards.

Murphy serves the second of his three games, while Turner completes a three-match ban following his sending off playing for the reserves.

Bradford's mini-revival has hit the buffers, successive 1-0 defeats having halted their climb up the table following a run of four wins in five league matches.

Accrington manager John Coleman: "We're not looking too bad. We have one or two little knocks but I think we've got more or less a clean bill of health throughout the whole squad so there's certainly healthy competition for places.

"We might not see the benefit of those numbers but they certainly help. It's better than having 14 or 15 like we've had in the past.

"With it being loan deadline week we're still looking at bringing one or two new players in."
