Bradford City have banned four fans for life, and a further 20 for next season, following a pitch invasion during the final home game of last season.A group ran on the pitch to confront the away fans after Bradford's game with Northampton on 1 May 2010

It came after a tribute was held for the 56 people who died in the Valley Parade fire 25 years before.

The club has also entered into 'good behaviour contracts' with another 16 of their supporters.

Bradford City safety officer David Dowse told BBC Radio Leeds the response to their efforts to find those responsible was fantastic.

"The true Bradford fans have come through and they don't want to see that type of behaviour either," he said.

"They've identified people, they've helped us with this campaign, and it makes a very firm statement about what the club here at the stadium."
