The 22-year who previously played for Wollongong Wolves, had been on trial at First Division rivals Rotherham United but was not offered a contract at Millmoor.

Reid has welcomed the opportunity to show the Millers what they are missing by joining The Bantams, the club he had planned to join in the summer.

"I didn't think I was going to get here at one stage but I'm happy it's happened and now I just want to start performing and work Bradford up the ladder," said Reid

"I like to get up and down the field and a lot of people say I've got good vision over the park. If I can pick out Ashley Ward and Michael Proctor up front and help them score goals then hopefully I'll be an asset.

"The English league is so much quicker than Australia. But I like playing one and two-touch football so hopefully that will stand me in good stead.

"The start of the season has been magnificent considering the club's problems off-the-field and I'd like to keep that going by helping them to a good start in the Worthington Cup."
