Dan shockingly died, at the tender age of 33, within 8 weeks of being
diagnosed with testicular cancer despite being given an 80% chance of
survival. Dan was an extremely knowledgeable and well liked member, and
moderator, of the NUFC Footymad message board, and had engaged in
football related banter with fans from other clubs, forging many friendships in
the process.

The Dan Pringle Trust has been launched in his memory and all proceeds
from this event are to be donated to "The Joe Wallace Breath of Life
fund", (affiliated to The British lung Foundation) organised by Sunderland
supporter Paul Wallace ( www.joewallace.webeden.co.uk ). Dan was a keen
supporter of this charity, even before his own illness, both contributing himself and drumming up support and contributions from others on a regular
basis.
