Bradford striker Gareth Evans is hoping to return to the starting line-up for the home clash with Bury. Evans was dropped to the substitutes bench at Torquay last week, but fired two late goals to clinch City's first win in seven matches. Fellow striker James Hanson is not expected to recover from a torn back muscle in time, while Evans could return alongside Michael Boulding if manager Stuart McCall reverts to two up front. Fellow forward Peter Thorne is not yet ready to start following a long-term calf problem, but is likely to be on the bench again. McCall must decide who to pair together in central defence out of Matt Clarke, Zesh Rehman and Steve Williams, while James O'Brien will be out for up to a month after having surgery on his nose. McCall has no other new injury or suspension problems as the Bantams look to secure back-to-back league wins for the first time since August.
